How to file for a Canadian Certificate of Incorporation.

As our ENT class is currently going through the processes of incorporating, managing, and hopefully profiting from our Micro-Financing Entrepreneurship Challenge, here is the official list of files needed for incorporation:

Form 1: Articles of Incorporation;


Form 2: Initial Registered Office Address and First Board of Directors;

        (*)If you requested prior approval of your name:

(*)Form 3: the letter from the Director appointed under the CBCA (Director) approving your name (please enclose a copy of the NUANS® report);

Otherwise:

Form 3: NUANS® report not more than 90 days old as well as information pertinent to the name. If you are requesting a numbered name, it is not necessary to file a NUANS® report;

Payment of Fees: Payment of the $250 filing fee, or $200 if the transaction is completed through the Corporations Canada Online Filing Centre.
